The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused the governor of Plateau state, Simon Lalong of shunning his obligations as a leader of the state for personal pursuits.
The party shared their issue while briefing journalists at the state secretariat of the party in Jos, the state money.
The party insisted that the routines of the governor are negatively affecting the financial advancement of the state.
The PDP said this via its State Publicity Secretary, Mr John Akans, while briefing journalists at the state secretariat of the party in Jos, the state cash.
Akans explained, “Governor Simon Lalong in his regular method has abandoned urgent problems of governance in the state for his personal desire, while Plateau persons are going through a bitter encounter as a result of management vacuum produced by Lalong’s constant absence.
“This is a man that does not continue to be in Plateau, as an alternative he is roving from place to the other, for particular factors, and does not know what is happening in his state.”
Speaking further, the PDP alleged that Lalong has been peddling lies saying that the governorship candidate of the PDP will not take part in the 2023 general election.
“Gentleman of the press, you all recall that Governor Lalong while hosting his APC senatorial zone stakeholders, he brazenly explained to them that the PDP will not be element of the 2023 general elections,” Akans explained.
