It Is An Insult To Mention Funke Akindeles Name In My Presence Bola Tinubu (Video)

Presidential prospect of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has thrown jabs at noteworthy actress turned politician, Funke Akindele.

Speaking at a political event on Wednesday, November 2, Tinubu stated it’s insulting and disrespectful to point out Funke Akindele’s name in his presence.

He reported this when his supporters sang a campaign track, describing Funke Akindele, the Peoples Democratic Party Lagos Deputy Governorship candidate, as a ‘political ant’ in contrast to APC Lagos governorship candidate and incumbent governor of the state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

“Who is Funke Akindele before Sanwo-Olu of Lagos? She is an ant,” they sang in Yoruba.

In reaction, Tinubu shunned them and said, “Don’t even hassle to mention her name in my presence. It is an insult. It is disrespectful.”

Funke Akindele has reportedly submitted only 1st School Leaving Certificate (FLSC) and West Africa Senior School Certification (WASSC) to the Independent Nationwide Electoral Fee (INEC).
